API Versioning
In general, the api version numbers represent semantic versioning major numbers - bugs will be fixed and features will be added without changing the version number, but backwards-incompatible changes will result in a new version.
Signing and Security
All endpoints that request or modify account-specific information required authentication in order to protect your account security and customer privacy. Before you can make any requests to the API itself you must obtain credentials (an API Key and API Secret). This can generally be done from the settings page of your main account. Please check the 'General Info' section of the API version you are working with for authentication details and examples.
